Installation

Spector Server is available via Internet download or on CD-ROM. Installation takes less than 5 minutes and does not require a restart of the server or running applications. Spector Server offers two methods of installations:

Remote Desktop Installation

Spector Server can be installed from your desktop PC using your Remote Desktop connection.

Direct Installation

Install Spector Server directly at the server.

Viewing The Recordings

Spector Server recordings are stored in a secure location on your server hard drive. Recordings are automatically accessed and displayed when you launch the Spector Server Viewer application. There are two methods for reviewing your Spector Server recordings:

Remote Desktop

While accessing your server via Remote Desktop... launch the Spector Server Viewer and review your recordings remotely.

Direct

Launch the Spector Server Viewer application at the server being monitored and review directly at the server.

Modifying Settings

Spector Server settings can be adjusted at anytime from within the Viewer application on the server.
