Zero Performance Impact

Spector Server has been efficiently engineered to eliminate performance impact on your servers. Ongoing recording is undetectable and it uses very few CPU cycles and very little memory.

Spector Server is only loaded and executed when a user logs onto the server desktop. At all other times, Spector Server is not running, so it does not impact the performance of your servers.

Stealth Monitoring

Stealth technology ensures that Spector Server is completely protected from everyone except those with authorized access. Spector Server does not appear in the Windows System Tray, Desktop, Task Manager or Add/Remove Programs Menu.

Access Security

Spector Server recordings are protected by a combination of Hot Keys that you choose. Spector can only be accessed through your Hot Key combination. As an added measure of security, Spector Server will prompt you for a password before opening the recording files. This ensures that anyone attempting to access the recordings is an authorized user.

Search Recordings

Spector Server captures a vast amount of information that provides you with documentation of Server Activity. To assist with expediting the review process, Spector Server includes a powerful Search tool that allows you to enter any word or phrase and quickly narrow the amount of displayed recording data you have to review.
